What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember a choice without identifying a visitor by name. This site uses essential storage and may use optional analytics only after consent.
Storage used
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
runtimeNodecore_cookieChoice | Remembers whether optional cookies were accepted or rejected | Until manually cleared | Runtime Nodecore |
| Optional analytics identifier | Distinguishes visits to understand aggregate page use; loaded only after acceptance if analytics are enabled | Up to 13 months | Runtime Nodecore analytics provider |
At publication, the consent preference is the only browser record set by our own site. If optional analytics are introduced, they remain disabled after rejection and this table will identify their provider and exact name.
Essential and optional categories
Essential storage preserves your privacy selection and supports basic security or form delivery. It cannot be switched off through the banner because the site needs to remember the requested setting. Optional analytics help us understand aggregate readership and are not necessary for mentoring requests.
Your choice
The first-visit banner gives equally visible Accept and Reject actions. Rejecting does not block pages, forms, or session requests. You can clear site data in browser settings to make the banner appear again. Browser controls can also block or delete all cookies; doing so may prevent your preference from being remembered.
Third parties and changes
Remote images and font files may cause your browser to contact their hosts and transmit ordinary request information such as IP address and user agent. Those providers apply their own privacy terms, but this site does not permit them to set optional analytics through our consent mechanism. We update this page when storage practices materially change.
